Guest article on Logistra.de: Why the last mile determines the future of logistics

The last mile is crucial when transporting goods. If you look at the complete journey from a product to the customer, the start is already organized very efficiently: manufacturers transport products in large quantities in fully loaded trucks to a distribution center in the region. Only a few emissions can be saved here. The profit is therefore precisely in the last mile that the product travels to the recipient.

To win this, however, creative solutions are needed given the driver shortage with increasing volume: such as cooperation, out-of-door delivery and the use of cargo bikes. In a guest article on Logistra.de our co-founder, Jeroen Gehlen, tells all about it!
