Drop-off Points
Generate more business with your location
In cooperation with local (bicycle) couriers, Wuunder picks up shipments and delivers them back to a drop-off point within a few kilometers. This is where the larger carriers pick up the shipments again. To ensure a seamless connection, we are looking for new drop-off points: easily accessible locations where couriers can quickly “drop off” their shipments and carriers such as DHL, DPD, TNT and more can then easily pick them up at set times.
Checklist for Becoming a Drop-Off Point
Would you like to make your location available as a drop-off point? How nice! To join our unique on-demand network, your location does need to meet some criteria:
- Wuunder’s drop-off points should all be located in easily accessible locations such as a store’s warehouse, an office building’s reception area or a courier’s location.
- In addition, it is nice if your location is open on a Saturday or Sunday. In fact, this always provides a safe haven for our affiliated couriers and carriers to work more efficiently in their business.
Take matters into your own hands
Only our affiliated couriers and carriers are welcome at your location to deliver and pick up packages. So a drop-off point is not a Parcelshop where consumers and business customers can pick up or drop off their shipments directly. It is more like a cross-dock operation where shipments are sent directly without storage. At a drop-off point, delivered packages and documents may be labeled with the appropriate shipping label and then given to the appropriate carrier.
That's going to take me a lot of time....
It’s very simple! Take the shipment from the (bicycle) courier, sign for receipt and sort it into a roll container or pallet by carrier. When the carrier comes to pick up their shipments, have the driver sign for receipt. Want to earn extra? Then you can stick shipping labels or temporarily store shipments. All other work is taken care of by Wuunder.
